Friendship, Disharmony and Sonic Ch.11 PART 1
After Mordecai’s outburst, everyone turned around and saw a single ghost floating in the air, but what caught everyone’s eye was the green emerald in the ghost’s chest plate. The emerald was then replaced by a second face on the chest plate, causing Danny, Sam, and Tucker to relive an event with an encounter with the familiar foe. Before anyone could question it, the face spoke and said, "There wouldn't be a “next one” if you had better aim!" The head then spoke and said, "Well excuse me for enjoying a good hunt." The face snapped back at him and said, "And excuse me for being the one that enjoys results!" While
Turning over in the cell, the half gem-human hybrid looked at the blue gem that he shared the space with. Nothing made sense to him. He was to go to Earth with these three gems and not think anything about it?
"Lapis."
Nothing.
"Lapis." Jett sat up and watched the other gem shift in her position, hugging her legs. "I know you don't want to be here. I don't either, you think I like being kept prisoner? Okay, bad choice of words."
Lapis sat up slowly to turn her attention towards him, her gaze was cold, he could easily sense she was not in any mood to talk. "Why do you care so much?" She asked softly.
"Hey, in case you haven't noticed, we'
Staring out the window, Jett wasn't interested in the slightest about what Ms. Quartz was talking about. He could only have the scene of him and Lapis repeating in his head. It was so close...yet so far. What was happening to him, these feelings that were building up inside of him. It drowned him from the outside world, not even Amethyst budging him could get him out of his thoughts.
Lapis looked over at him from her desk, she wasn't really in a mood to pay attention either, not with everything that just happened between her and Jett. It made her flustered yet at the same time, happy. Her eyes flickered to the clock, time felt like it was go
Tapping the keys on his keyboard, the black haired boy kept his eyes focused. An unimpressed look on his face. It hadn't been long since he arrived on Earth with three other gems. Even though he was against the idea, he was convinced otherwise to listen to the gems ahead of him. Rather, it was an order from a Diamond. What choice did he have? Sighing, he looked up to see the gems he had came with.
"What are you doing with that thing?" Peridot asked, forming the fingers of her limb enhancers into an arrow, a puzzled look across her face.
"What is it?" Lapis asked softly.
"Looks like one of those stupid Earth inventions." Jasper said.
"Hey
"Oh my stars, w-what happened to your eye?!" Peridot pointed at Jett's eye, it was outlined with purple, her expression said it all.
"Relax, Peri, it was just an unfortunate run in." Jett said as he pushed her hand down, chuckling softly.
"You mean, running into Jasper, right?" Amethyst asked smugly, taking a bite of the sandwich she was eating.
The trio were sitting outside for lunch, they needed a breath of fresh air after a run in with Jasper. Especially Jett, Jasper had him cornered and nailed him right in the eye, now he was a target.
"You know, this wouldn't have happened if you didn't stand up for me."
Jett paused from chewing as
"Do you think she'll ever really open up? She seems really...reserved. I don't know Steven, it's already hard for me to trust anyone.""Oh, she's just like you. The only person she ever trusted...was me."
Lapis Lazuli, a reserved girl on her own, never really expressing much of her emotions. She had made some friends on her own, through tough times and the best times, she's learned to accept a selected few. Her quiet behavior often attracts some attention from people, which she pays no mind to. She goes on with her own business instead of letting others get to her.
Jett had the brains but his temper would normally get the best of him. He w

Chapter 1: The Fringe of Sanity (Hangar)
Twenty-five men waited in a holding cell for their flight to prepare. Interplanetary travel was still just barely possible, but those in charge would be damned if they couldn't force history to be written. The wait would be for twelve more hours to prepare the state-of-the-art fuel, and for that time the men would stew on high heat. This was of course just after they were all shoved through a courtroom one by one.
William looked around the room with the other men, all oddly much like him. Most of these soldiers were highly trained compared to their peers yet were all in some way damaged

DOOM: The Novelization (Intro)
The jungle was nearly pitch black, yet filled with the noise of indescribable insects. A formation of three man-sized mechanized guns traversed the chaotic terrain of gnarled roots and vines between puddles of muck with ease using their four spider legs, forging a path for several men. These were no ordinary men. They did happen to be very desirably-abled or highly trained, but there was something... abnormal about nearly every one.
Pops could be heard up ahead. Immediately the men assumed aiming stances and scanned the foliage. Their focus was repeatedly jarred when the triad of arachnid mechs quickly paused mid-stride to release volle
A man was led into a grungy courtroom, humming and breathing with machines behind the metal walls and above the unnaturally shining fluorescent lights. The bailiffs were, with their muscles bulging through their uniforms, picked due to the severity of the man's infraction. He, however, appeared to be consumed by guilt as he stood before the judge. Nobody wanted to be here today.
"Do you understand the charges that bring you here," the aging judge said without bothering to clear his throat, "...Staff Sergeant William Blazcowicz, the Second?"
"I do, sir." Just as he was told to say. He knew what to speak to prevent any further infraction
Chapter 8-More Allies Found By Invitation.
A couple of days have passed since the G.U.N’s attempt on capturing Lucario, and the poor Pokémon’s still edgy from the whole ordeal. Still, he kept his head high knowing that he has friends to help him out as he looked over the ocean on the edge of Angel Island.
*Although there are many dangers here,* he thought to himself as a cool breeze blew through his fur, *I feel strangely at ease. I guess it’s with Sonic’s friends accepting me and helping me. Though I wonder, is this how Sonic feels every day of his life? I guess it must be.*
Lucario was so deep in his thoughts
